Help Keep Our Streets Safe and Clean
Utah Code 72-7-409(2) states that a person may not operate a vehicle with an unsecured load on any highway or operate a vehicle carrying trash without covering the entire load. SMALL LOAD FLAT FEE ADJUSTMENTS
On November 2, 2022, the Administrative Control Board made changes to the definition of the Small Load Flat Fee. Effective January 1, 2023, the $10 Small Load Flat Fee applies to all loads weighing 10,000 pounds or less. This gross weight includes waste, vehicle, and any trailer on the inbound scale. Wasatch’s New Mattress and Box Spring Recycling Program
Wasatch’s new mattress and box spring recycling program became effective on March 3, 2022. The cost of recycling mattresses and box springs increased to $15 per piece on July 1, 2022. All mattresses and box springs collected under this fee will be sent to a third party for recycling.
