Lithium ion batteries are many times more powerful than an alkaline single-use battery — and much, much more dangerous if improperly disposed of. Lithium ion batteries are found in portable power tools such as drills, saws, and leaf blowers; and in electronics such as mobile phones, laptops, and tablets.
